A Thread That Never Broke

In 1944, in the weaving town of Arani, Tamil Nadu, our founder set up his first loom with nothing but skill and conviction. What began as a single family's craft has, over eight decades, become a legacy carried by six generations of weavers — each one trained by the last, each one adding their own quiet mastery to the craft.

Krisar Silk Creations grew into a trusted name for wholesalers and bulk buyers across India. Today, with Krisar Vastrae, we bring that same heritage directly to you — no middlemen, no compromise, just pure handwoven silk from the loom to your home.

Every Saree Takes Its Time
HANDWOVEN AUTHENTICITY

Every Saree Takes Its Time

A Krisar Vastrae saree is never rushed. Depending on the design, a single saree can take our weavers 15 to 20 days to complete — from dyeing the yarn, to setting up the loom, to hand-weaving every zari border, thread by thread.

We work only with pure mulberry silk and real zari, sourced and tested for authenticity. No power-loom shortcuts, no synthetic substitutes — just the same standards our founder set in 1944

SIX GENERATIONS OF MASTERY

A Family Business, In the Truest Sense

From father to son, generation to generation, the looms of Arani have stayed in the same hands. Today's weavers at Krisar Vastrae are the sixth generation of that same family — trained not in a classroom, but at the loom itself, the way it has always been done.
